About Me
Founded in 1999, Rob Till Photo has been creating and capturing images across a variety of genres for over two decades. Rob is Johannesburg born and has spent most of his life in the city until relocating to the Cape in early 2022.
Despite his wide portfolio of work for numerous clients, Rob, being a petrol head, has specialised in the automotive industry, winning global recognition and several awards.
His love for photography started at school, after which he was employed in a semi-professional photolab for three years. The lab brought him into contact with Roger Swan of Swan Photographic, who he then joined – and was mentored by – for the following eight years.
During that period, Rob also worked extensively with TOPCAR magazine under the leadership and guidance of Deon Schoeman, and had the privilege of having a second mentor in Colin Watling.
Rob predominantly works with South African represented car brands, but he has also worked internationally with commissions including him being Jaguar U.K’s official world launch photographer on seven occasions. He has travelled with Kingsley Holgate, covered the EWT /Land Rover SA Wild Dog relocation project, and is the Simola Hillclimb’s official photographer, amongst other special projects.
Rob travels extensively and will go wherever his skills and services are required. While he mostly works alone, he is comfortable to work as part of a team on larger projects.
